91ÖÆÆ¬ Wrestling Club Hosting Tournament

The 91ÖÆÆ¬ wrestling club will host the Doc Belshaw Last Chance Invite wrestling tournament on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the 91ÖÆÆ¬ HPER. The tournament is named after Doc Belshaw who coached at 91ÖÆÆ¬ in the 90s.

The tournament is open to all post high school wrestlers. Contestants must be eligible for collegiate competition or present proof of insurance.

91ÖÆÆ¬ is currently ranked No. 3 in the National Collegiate Wrestling Association Northwest Conference rankings. Five 91ÖÆÆ¬ students are ranked in the top 4 in their weight classes. Chris Moodry, a sophomore, civil engineering student from Gillette, WY, wresting at 149 is ranked No. 2. Riley McDowell, a junior majoring in petroleum engineering from Dewitt, IA, at the 235 weight class is ranked No. 1. At 285, 91ÖÆÆ¬ student Kaelan Yanak, a freshman majoring in welding technology from Eureka, MT is ranked No. 1. At 197, a recent wrestling team addition is Doug Womack, a junior majoring in Petroleum Engineering from Frenchtown, MT, is ranked 3rd.
