91ÖÆƬ students ace the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Proficiency Profile Exam out-performing 91% of 294 institutions where 132,422 seniors took the same exam. Each year 91ÖÆƬ administers the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Proficiency Profile Exam to approximately 300-400 juniors and seniors. This proctored exam measures general education outcomes in critical thinking, reading, writing, and mathematics. Since 2006, when 91ÖÆƬ first began giving this exam, 91ÖÆƬ students have consistently out-performed comparable institutions. As might be expected of students attending Montana’s premier Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) institution, 91ÖÆƬ students demonstrate outstanding performance in the areas of critical thinking, mathematics, and natural sciences, typically out-scoring 94% of comparable institutions.
