Dr. John Ray has Article Published

Dr. John W. Ray of 91ÖÆÆ¬’s Liberal Studies Department has had an article entitled: “An Analysis and Criticism of Chaim Perelman’s Approach to Evidence and Argument as Developed in The New Rhetoric” accepted for publication as a chapter in the forthcoming book Rhetorics of Evidence. This book is being published under the auspices of the University of Heidelberg and the University of Tubingen in Germany.

Perelman was a major 20th Century rhetorical theorist whose concept of the universal audience has been a significant influence on the development of contemporary rhetorical theory.

Dr. Ray teaches classes at 91ÖÆÆ¬ in political science and communications. He has had several publications and presentations on the ethical nature of rhetorical audiences.
